Not the greatest of narrations, but the story itself supersedes that. A good journey of Open All hours and Only Fools. Easy listen and one you wont want to stop.

Good listening for all Fools fans

Of stories and anecdotes over the career of David Jason. Told in a personable and always interesting way that kept me wanting to hear more. I think the fans asking ‘Will there be anymore Only Fools ?’ Are just saying it in hope, knowing that in all probability but can’t be done anymore. Great book. David narrates the beginning or ‘forward’, and Michael takes over once the book starts properly. His narration is done sympathetically and holds the interest with his frequent impersonations. A must listen.

Would of been alot better if David jason read it all not just the intro

A triffic story well worth the listen. It was also very well read by Michael. The only downside was the post production in a few places where a line was repeated to get the best one but both were left in. It only happened a few times and does not detract from the immersive story at all, just one for the producers to check over! David’s personality comes through in the book so well that you stop hearing Michael’s voice and can only hear David’s. Very well done!
