Being from the great city and county of Manchester so it was great listening to this audio book. it was like a walk down memory lane. one issue that pissed me off a bit was the delivery by the narrator, she did a great job of making the Mancunian sound like South Afriican. or dick Van Dyke Cockley. Salford is pronounced Solford and not Sal-ford.

Rant over. loved the story addicted to it now. give it a go, you will love it.

As others have said, accents are not something this narrator can do. but this is a great set of short stories from an author I really like.

I loved this tale of Manchester's superhero crime-fighting team. Great characters, convincing world-building and gripping plots.

The one drawback is the narrator, specifically her inability to do convincing northern accents. Quite a drawback for an audiobook set in Manchester...

But that's just a minor quibble - this audiobook is very good indeed. I can't wait for a sequel!!!

this book is very well put together i enjoyed the story very much and was thoroughly entertained by the performance and loved the extra sound effects it really added that much more to listening to the story . over all this is a fantastic audio book .
