About this listen

By the international number one best-selling author of Tell No One and Fool Me Once, soon to be a major movie starring Julia Roberts.

The boy who had been missing for 10 years was right in front of him....

A decade ago kidnappers grabbed two boys from wealthy families and demanded ransom, then went silent. No trace of the boys ever surfaced.

For 10 years their families have been left with nothing but painful memories and a quiet desperation for the day that has finally miraculously arrived: Myron Bolitar and his friend, Win, believe they have located one of the boys, now a teenager. Where has he been for 10 years, and what does he know about the day, more than half a life ago, when he was taken? And most critically: what can he tell Myron and Win about the fate of his missing friend?

Drawing on his singular talent, Harlan Coben delivers an explosive and deeply moving thriller about friendship, family and the meaning of home.

What made the experience of listening to Home the most enjoyable?

The narrator was excellent in this. Just seem to completely suit the characters.

What other book might you compare Home to, and why?

It is generally in the style of Harlen Cobens other books.

Which character – as performed by Steven Webber – was your favourite?

Win, I am surprised I didn't say Myron as he is obviously one of the favourites but this time win definitely came more alive for me. As a second though is fat gahndi.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I had to stop it in one room and carry it on in another

Great Characters as always

I've read all of the author's books and have enjoyed them all. This has the usual, intricate plot & strong characters. The narrator's portrayal of Nancy grated but maybe that's what he was aiming for.

As good as always..

Good plot which kept you guessing. That good that I've got other titles by Harlan Webber. Well read too.

The confrontation and violence in this book is definitely of the 'suspend disbelief' variety! However, it's well done (think Kill Bill without the walking on ceilings etc). The characters here are well drawn. I loved Win and Myron. Why only 3 stars then? Because it went off at a tangent in the middle. This is significant enough for me to have wound-on a couple of chapters and occasionally become distracted for a short time during another couple. Despite this, I really enjoyed it. The narration is superb.

Enjoyed it!
