From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Reminders of Him and It Starts with Us, a “brave and heartbreaking novel that digs its claws into you and doesn’t let go, long after you’ve finished it” (Anna Todd, New York Times bestselling author) about a young woman in a new relationship who can’t stop thinking about her first love.

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.

As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

An honest, evocative, and tender novel, It Ends with Us is “a glorious and touching read, a forever keeper. The kind of book that gets handed down” (USA TODAY).

It was a good story but I don’t like the narration. the male lead sounds like an incel and it really puts me off

It’s okay

While this book may be a reflection on many women who suffer domestic violence by narcissistic men, Lily has the luxury of money and support unlike many others.
Men with these characteristics pleasure in control and manipulation leaving the victim powerless to manage even the simplest of tasks.
This book barely scratches the surface.

Lucky Lily

I haven’t loved a book this much is such a long time, it’s so much better than I could possibly imagine and I went with with very high exceptions anyway without even really knowing that much about the plot. There’s so much more going on in this story than I thought when I originally started to read it. It is so well written I really started to understand and see things in a perspective I have have before. I’ve never written a review for any book I’ve listened to or read before but really felt like I needed to for this one. I hope the film when I eventually comes out gives it the justice it deserves.

An amazing must read

Loved it from start to finish. The main character Lilly is so likeable. I could really relate to her pain and struggles, as can many women who suffer at the hands of the man they love. There are highs and lows, humour and sadness all in one book. What a rollercoaster for the emotions.
Wonderful in every way would highly recommend.

Loved this book so much.
