A good read. Easy light entertainment. Well narrated. Plot good but I was able to predict the outcome very easily.

Very enjoyable book. Not too much bad language, but enough to spoil the narrative. Good storyline, even though somewhat predictable.

This was a well constructed novel with plenty of intriguing moments. I found it less captivating than Rattle. but still enjoyed it. The narration was really good, the male voices performed by Christina were just as entertaining. Loving your work Mary, keep it coming.

Riley is such a gritty character, she had a hard childhood, a tough time on the street and a number of days from that time she has "lost", with no memory at all. But she has clawed her way up from there and is now a kickass State Trooper with fantastic detective skills.
Clay is a broken character, who lost his wife far too soon, he met Riley not long after this loss and was horrified at the feelings she stirred. Fast forward a number of years and they are brought back together when Riley's lost past comes back to claim her. Clay knows he has to save Riley but to do so he has to break through her walls and show her he is now a different man, he has healed and is ready to be the man she needs.
This is a fantastic first book in the Forgotten Files series, we are introduced to a fantastic team of State Troopers and the awesome Shield Security. This series continues with different members of both teams, improving as we get to know all characters and team members better. I listened to this on Audible with Kindle Unlimited and have already downloaded the next two books in the series too.
