Circa 1980 when this was first shown on BBC1 in the UK, ITV annoyingly put Buck Rogers on TV at the same time. Buck Rogers had a bigger budget and was slicker with its Star-Wars like appearance and special effects, and at the time I remember being torn between watching both programmes. 42 years later, I would say this Dr Who story has worn the test of time much better.

Better than Buck Rogers
