If you've read 50 shades this gives you a look into the character and formative years of Christian. The story is still weak and repetetive but it does provide provide a context for the darkness in Christian's character. A good addition to the successful trilogy.

I have seen all the movies first. And I’m loving the books. More detailed, exciting and you can just hear it from Christian’s point of view! Ready to read the next one! Absolutely love this and have been a big fan of the trilogy ever since the start!

I originally read this when it first came out but as freed is released soon I decided to listen to it and remind myself of the story! It didn't disappoint - as good second time around and grey was really brought to life by zachary webber.

This is fifty shades of grey from Christian Grey's side, I have found this more heart wrenching that the original. Seeing how lost he is with his own feeling let alone hers, how helpless this strong capable man is trapped in his past. Read brilliantly and with such a lovely voice to listen to by Zachary Webber.
