About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin.

The fifth audiobook in the bestselling spin off series from Percy Jackson and the Olympians - now a major Disney+ series!

Though the Greek and Roman crew members of the Argo II have made progress in their many quests, they still seem no closer to defeating the earth mother, Gaea. Her giants have risen - all of them - and they're stronger than ever.

The gods, still suffering from multiple personality disorder, are useless. How can a handful of young demigods hope to persevere against Gaea's army of powerful giants? As dangerous as it is to head to Athens, they have no other option. They have sacrificed too much already. And if Gaea wakes, it is game over . . .

What made the experience of listening to The Blood of Olympus the most enjoyable?

It interweaves two different stories into one which made it intriguing.

What other book might you compare The Blood of Olympus to, and why?

I would compare this book to Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian because it has the same structure.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Multiple storylines within one great tale.

Any additional comments?

This review is from my 11 year old son who listened to the complete story 5 times before anyone else got a chance to listen to it - so it must be good!

This is a brilliant story as usual there are a few weird moments but the writing is good. BUT THE NARRATOR IS TERRIBLE. But apart from that is sooooooo good.
