Takes a little while to get into story, but ends up being a rather good read.

Stick with it

So glad I persevered although it took me 9 attempts...... it was worth it in the end. I absoutley love Amanda Prowse and have all her audible books, to start with I would only listen to the ones that Amanda read but over time I've listened to others read her books but they all niggle me!!!!! This was part of a series so I had to listen to it in order at one stage I was tempted to leave it out but glad I didn't. x

Really struggled with this one out of the series..

Prue runs a first class patisserie which is her life, then life starts to intrude. l enjoyed myself reading about her more mature years which are often left alone in writing and felt that it was dealt with in just the right way.

an easy read

I enjoyed the twists and turns of this well written book. The narrator is spot on and I couldn’t wait to hear the next part as I read it.

A deep, thoroughly fascinating story

I really enjoyed this book, I listened to it on holiday and found myself wanting to absorb every word. Whereas some stories take a while to get into a big high or low this book goes there quite early so you can be gripped by how everything unfolds. Great narration too.

Such a lovely story
