A classic adventure from the creator of Drizzt!

High in the Snowflake Mountains sits the Edificant Library, a place of scholarly study for priests, bards, and others. Now from the hidden vaults beneath the library a devastating curse is unleashed, and a young cleric must battle the terrifying creatures set loose by a malevolent, consuming essence that's been released, before his own brethren turn against him. Cadderly must put his studies to the test and enter the catacombs far below to save his brothers and himself.

would say the drizzt novels are a little more interesting but still a perfectly fun fantasy romp story keeps moving and good characterization as well

fun fantasy romp

The story itself sound very interesting but povs switch constantly, the book barely started and it already went through like 5 povs including evil guy and side characters that I have no idea what the hell is happening or even who the hell is talking now, was it really necessary? Couldn’t they be told from mcs pov without switching every couple sentences and instead introduce casual different pov? Additionally mc seems to be childish and irritating as hell for me. So unless you like when pov switched every couple min don’t waste your money.
