I enjoyed the story but found the narrator's performance poor. She pauses in strange places, her pronunciation isn't brilliant (I'm English she American so that can be forgiven) and the accents she puts on for different characters seems inconsistent. The recording is obviously edited and the transition between the different edits is jarring at times. Only by this if you're a Forgotten Realms fan.

Has this women grasped the ability to speak English. Her voice does not fit the book.
I will buy the book instead. Lloth would not approve.

Is this read a by a broken robot

I can’t like this title because the reader is woefully bad. This is not your calling.
The book is read in a childish, staccato tone. Weird unnecessary pauses.

Inconsistent character voices. Mispronunciation of key names and places.

Actually diabolical and I couldn’t listen past chapter 4.
I have noticed the series is narrated by this person all the way through so will not finish the series which is a shame as I loved the War of the spider queen series which this is the follow on to.

Please no more from this narrator, this was a shambles.
