Fourteen-year-old Tory Brennan is as fascinated by bones and dead bodies as her famous aunt, acclaimed forensic anthropologist, Tempe Brennan. It's aimed at Teens but I wasn't disappointed in it. Same expressive prose and attention to detail. story line more fanciful but I can imagine it would be a real hit with my daughter too.

Modern and quirky this novel has humour wit and adventure.If any people have a memory of ENID BLYTON and her secret seven and famous five stories you can perhaps compare the modern day Kathy Reichs to her with teen speak and todays culture very much to the core , It is a fantasy that is sharp and fast ENJOYABLY refreshing from vampires

I was a bit dubious about Kathy Reiches 'young adult' series, I'm a huge fan of the Temperance Brennan books, and didn't think that 'dumbed down' adventure would be for me. How wrong I was! The story is brilliant full of all the thrills and twists I love, I though the Virus would be a little far fetched, but it fits and works!

This was a surprise to me. Not at all what you would expect from Kathy Reichs. But it crosses over with my love of si-fi. Loved it.

Ps,Cristin Milioti does a fantastic job bringing this book to life. Very excited to read the rest of the series
