 From 1938 to 1968 crime novelist and detective Paul Temple and his Fleet Street journalist wife Steve solved case after case in one of BBC Radio’s most popular series. Classic Paul Temple. Makes me laugh out loud. These are so full of fun. Some may find these old fashioned & tame but they are a real treat & last for hours. The way Paul talks to his wife is amusing. ❤️Love it.

What a fabulous story line. Excellently acted a la period with all the old favourites. And you know who did it. Don't you know listener......don't you know who Valentine is!

I have come to these recordings having first heard the stories many years ago, too long ago for comfort! The plot follows the usual way of Paul Temple and Steve solving another case and dodging bombs and car crashes along the way. All in all it is easy listening. I actually prefer this Paul Temple and Steve to Peter Coke and Marjorie Westbury.

The story is good, dislike the intro every time, with recap on ep before, but that's how it was transmitted originally. The soundtrack and cast all act well it's jus I dint0 particularly like the actors voice, playing temple, or Gareth thomas' voice playing sir Graham Forbes. Perhaps if he was more like Peter cokes' soft voice, as in the vandyke affair, it would be OK. Nothing against him but coke was the best temple. Good eps. Too. Much use .buy it see what you think.
