About this listen

The third book in the incredible FALLEN series.

Before Luce and Daniel met at Sword & Cross, before they fought the Immortals, they had already lived many lives. And so Luce, desperate to unlock the curse that condemns their love, must revisit her past incarnations in order to understand her fate. Each century, each life, holds a different clue.

But Daniel is chasing her throughout the centuries before she has a chance to rewrite history.

How many deaths can one true love endure?

I loved it, it perfectly keeps the storyline interesting and alive. The writing was very engaging with the story constantly changing in the most adventurous ways. But mainly the overall theme of romance remains and becomes more addictive in this novel, resulting in you craving to experience just a tiny bit of their love.

My overall view

I loved this. Was highly enjoyable to get a peek into the past loves of Luce and Daniel. I liked the narrator too, I found her very easy to listen too. Looking forward to the next book!

Best in series so far.

Where does Passion rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is definitely near the top. For me, this is the best book in the series so far. The nature of the story makes things very exciting, as the constant near misses and chase through the lives of the previous incarnations of Daniel & Luce provide real impetus to the plot.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Luce in this instalment. She is proactive, not simply waiting for things to happen but forcing the issue by putting herself into some pretty dangerous situations.

What about Justine Eyre’s performance did you like?

She really nails the tone of voice needed for teenagers. The whole range of voices she has to perform are so well done. Male and female voices are all distinguished well, as well as different periods and places in history.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me hold my breath! The whole story was so tense I couldn't wait for the next chapter to find out what happened next.

Any additional comments?

I am outside the target audience for this book, and I found it to be brilliant. If you don't enjoy paranormal romance then you will never like it. But if you are willing, you can be totally lost in this world.
