The Revised English Bible is, without doubt, the most elegant, the most beautiful translation of the Bible yet produced. It is particularly well suited to be read aloud, much like its predecessor, the Authorized Version. Jacobi has produced a wonderful reading of Matthew's Gospel. It is slightly abridged, but very little is missing.
