Try playing it on speed 0.75 and reading along with it, speaking it out loud! There's such power in getting scripture in our ears, as well as our eyes/mind; speaking it out loud literally changes things. (Massive improvements in my own life!)
I've had mine for over a year and still play it daily (great whilst travelling, doing housework, etc!)
Also let's engage our God-given imaginations, picturing the scenes and expect to see the benefits! God is the creator and we're made in his image - engage your creative brain!

I knew the headline stories from Sunday school, the odd film and Christmas, but I had never read through the Bible fully, especially the Old Testament, so seeing the audio book I took the opportunity. The stories came through, the creation, Adam & Eve, Joseph, Moses, Jesus etc. which stood out from the history lesson on the people of Israel, Kings, Chronicles and so on. I was fascinated by the headline stories, especially learning about King David as I have a love of the Psalms. I found myself skipping the ancestry stuff and the history of the Israeli people. Confused even. I do recommend this book, very well presented and read (performed), but be prepared for sleep, especially 'These are the sons of....' sections. But the gems really outweigh the slow parts. So am I a Christian? Yes, Christ is needed even more today, please listen to the book(s).

The reading of this Bible leaves you inspired even in the old testament books like numbers. The film score behind flows and links all the parts, new and old testament together, and the mixing of times of God's voice with that of the characters retelling their prophecy whilst strange at first, adds variety. The voice of Jesus is inspired, as are his emotions at the different points. Well done.
