I am a Dean Koontz fan but it took me a while to get into the book. It was worth the endurance. Once it gets going, the story is great and the characters and believable and well developed.

A very good book, explored characters in-depth slowly building up their stories and phobias / issues. Resulting in drawing everyone involved back to a hotel where they had been brainwashed. The why is what keeps you listening and will they succeed in finding the truth. Then right at the end they hear the truth of an alien spaceship landing that the government tried to cover up. For me lost its edge. Although life elsewhere has not been proven or disproven yet. None the less all round enjoyable. Well read by Dick Hill, he never seemed to run out of voices.
