I Loved this. I saw myself in the anecdotes and had to laugh out loud at several points. I hope Grumpy Old Men 2 is just as funny.

I bought this book because I like the "Grumpy Old Women" series; but bloody hell is this book tedious.

I'm guessing Stuart Prebble isn't naturally funny - even when using stand-up comedian Arthur Smith it doesn't raise the bar.

It might be that Stuart's words may have been better read by a person with a voice who doesn't naturally Grumpy.

I wonder if this was read by Stephen Fry or Rick Wakeman (both know how to whinge and gripe, but have more expression in their vocal range) would it make this book more tolerable...

It certainly makes more weary buying another Grumpy Old Men book.

Certainly Grumpy
