About this listen

Tiffany Aching, the young witch from The Wee Free Men, A Hat Full of Sky and Wintersmith is back in a new adventure featuring Discworld characters both familiar to fans (such as Tiffany, the Wee Free Men, Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg) and new (meet Wee Mad Arthur, the Nac Mac Feegle on the City Watch whose only previous appearance was a brief cameo in Feet of Clay and city witch Mrs Proust - a fabulous Pratchett creation). Oh, and there's a magic book or two, a twist through time, a Cunning Man - and a Giant Man of chalk... Critic reviews

Teen witch Tiffany is one of [Pratchett's]most formidable creations yet
Tiffany Aching fans should be ecstatic.
Writing at the height of his powers . . . he makes us laugh a lot.
funny
... everything gets very funny
Adventure, magic and the usual dark, dry humour will keep you entertained from start to finish.
There are entertaining twists, humorous moments, and just enough romance to leave everyone happy at the end of the book.
a must for all Pratchett fans

As the well-places plot unravels in Pratchett's inimitable style, it goes without saying that everything gets very funny.
Like Tiffany, Pratchett has always known that "laughter helps things slide into the thinking".

(Alex Sarll, Sarah O'Meara)
Pratchett's book is suffused with an awareness of the thankless exhaustion which awaits people in the caring professions.

Would you consider the audio edition of I Shall Wear Midnight to be better than the print version?

Not at all I think both versions are equally as good. Tony Robinson was born to read Pratchett books

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love the Nac Mac Feegals, they are funny and have a Scottish accent.

What does Tony Robinson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

The funniness of his voice he can really bring the characters to life

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Its Terry Pratchett, this story is just as funny as the rest. just to here what the character Tifffany does next is worth the wait

Its Terry Pratchett (Need I say more)

Absolutely incredible. Never fails to keep you wanting to listen to just one mre chapter. As usual the characters come alive as only Tony Robinson can make them.

Thrilling
