Critic reviews

“The Traveler’s Gift effectively combines self-help with fiction . . . sustaining momentum while simultaneously passing on instructions for positive thinking . . . an exemplary job at providing positive suggestions for overcoming life’s obstacles . . .this is an author to watch.”
—Publishers Weekly
“Andrews’ book will engage your mind and inspire your heart.”
—Hyrum W. Smith, Co-Chairman of the Board, Franklin Covey
"With a keenly crafted parable that weaves in fascinating historical vignettes, the widely admired author offers seven secrets that can make the difference between success and failure in anyone’s life. After descending from a high flying corporate position to a minimum wage job, the hero of the story gets a chance to reexamine his assumptions in conversations with people like Lincoln, Truman, Anne Frank, and others. By the time he’s given all seven lessons, he’s accumulated enough wisdom to start making better choices and to snatch back his unstoppable can-do attitude. No one writing and performing this kind of story connects as deeply with listeners as Andy Andrews."

This is the 2nd Book I’ve listened to, written and read by the author; I believe that makes it better to listen to and he’s also gifted with the ability to change voice with accents and tones.
This story reiterated others I have read or listened to about discovering the secrets to successful people but is structured in a different way, so it was interesting to listen to.
I find Andy’s wisdom amazing and I’m happy I discovered him and his books. I certainly recommend this and the the first book I listened to by him, The noticer. I have since passed these titles to my teenage daughters to listen to. There is much wisdom within his words. Thank you Andy 🙏🏻

Beautifully read Pearls of wisdom

OMG what a fabulous book! I listened to it on Audible and didn’t want to stop listening! I was gutted when I got to work so had to stop listening! But I’d put it straight back on again on journey home. I even cried listening to it! It’s a brilliant personal development book but unlike any other as it’s in the form of a story with a few well known inspirational names in there! Highly recommend it!

Amazing book!!

Mediocre at best , encounters were like reading a scripted journal. Conversation with family was so very simple , was expecting just a little sophistication. The narrator’s voice scratchy and lilting too much. Wasted credit.

Don’t wast your time.
