Anyone who is familiar with the Sherlock Holmes novels may find these short dramas of interest. The American recording is a little dated and the sound production amusing at times. With the British accents often lapsing into American 'twang'. The background bird sounds at times appear to give the impression of people whistling in the background and the music inappropriate for the mood of the narrative.
Despite these shortcomings the Holmes powers of deduction are brought to the fore in maybe a somewhat simple form but would, therefore, be a good way for children to enjoy these classic tales.
