About this listen

A BBC Radio 4 full-cast dramatisation starring Roy Hudd, Sarah-Jane Holm and David Bamber. When Alice sees the White Rabbit run by, it occurs to her that she’s never seen a rabbit with a watch before. Burning with curiosity, she jumps up and follows him into a rabbit-hole. Then she falls down a long way. Down into the world of the Mad Hatter and the March Hare, the Duchess, the Cheshire Cat and the Mock Turtle. Down into Wonderland, where an ordinary little girl can have the most extraordinary adventures. These audio editions, especially dramatised for BBC Radio, are of timeless stories that have enchanted generations of readers both young and old. The wonder and excitement of these much-loved tales live on in these acclaimed full-cast dramatisations, complete with evocative music and sound effects.© and (P)1999 BBC Worldwide Ltd Adaptations Classics Entertainment & Performing Arts Fairy Tales, Folk Tales & Myths Fantasy Childrens Adventure

I like Alice as a famous character. I've seen many versions of the book. Scarlet has read it, and Mia has acted it. Maybe after various resee the story, I have used up my passion to the story.

In my opinion, the BBC drama of Dorothy, The Little Prince, Anne of the Green Gable, were wonderful, even some of those have performed in movies. In other words, the audible version is more fantastic than other forms.

So, a nice one, but not the wonderful anymore.

A good one, not as wonderful as my imagination
