Summary

A sweet all-American story of love and revenge.

Ambitious intern Ashton Bailey is about to get closer to her dream of being a sports announcer. All she has to do is prove that too-perfect-to-be-true NFL quarterback Evan Dawson isn’t quite as wholesome as his contract requires. It’s also the perfect opportunity to get delicious payback on the boy who broke her teenage heart. At least that’s her plan. But she forgot just how easy it is to crush on the irresistible charmer. #OhNoNotAgain.

Evan has a knack for getting through the opposing team’s defenses, and he won’t let this tall, redheaded knockout be the exception. He’s determined to make things right between them and earn back Ashton’s trust - and maybe her heart, too.

Then the press mistakenly announces their engagement, and Ashton and Evan find themselves going along with the lie. Now the whole world is watching as Ashton flirts with attraction and disaster. But while revenge is sweet, it just might come at the cost of something sweeter still.

Loved this!

I really appreciated that this is a clean read but you can still feel the passion and chemistry between Evan and Ashton. This book was sweet, cute and fun. The narrator did a good job and was enjoyable to listen to.

A Sweet Fun Story that kept me entertained

Sariah Wilson is fantastic at writing Sweet Romances. An Enemies to lovers premise is fantastic. #Awestruck is an amazing story. Ashton Bailey and Evan Dawson are amazing characters. She wants to be an NFL announcer. All she has to do is take down the town's star quarterback. Of course, he's the one guy who's she's held a grudge against for the past ten years. But will her perception of the past be the truth?

This was an entertaining story and I can't wait to see what Sariah comes up with next.

PS - Katie Koster does an excellent job narrating this story.

A Cute Innocent Romance

This was a very cute enemies (on Ashton’s part) to lovers Romance. It was kind of shocking to find out that the male lead in this book is the virgin that’s waiting for marriage, especially since he is a big shot quarter back. While it was a change, it was actually refreshing to have that different twist in the story. Sariah Wilson is very good at writing innocent romance, she doesn’t rely on sex to make the romance and chemistry between the characters believable. Evan was pretty much perfect throughout the entire story which made him a little unrealistic, but I preferred him over Ashton. While I enjoyed Ashton’s spunk and attitude a lot of the time, she drove me absolutely crazy with how she thought she could just ignore the trouble brewing and just hope it would disappear. Every time there was an interaction with her boss I just wanted to yell and rip my headphones off. Luckily Ashton got her act together by the end of the book to make it all worth it!

This was my first time listening to Katie Koster and she did a great job narrating! She matched the characters very well!

AWESOME Book! Worth your time.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Yep, 5 stars. LOVED this book. The story, the characters, the dialogue are great. My job lets meI listen to A LOT of books and I am picky! There are so many snoozers, and disappointing books out there, but not #Awestruck. The author doesn’t rely on sex scenes to sell her book which is refreshing. Sariah Wilson can truly write and I wish the story could go on and on. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I love Sariah Wilson's books.

They are clean and a true romance. No garbage included. One of the things I love most is that her books show the couple being together for awhile before there is an issue. Although the girls tend to have a negative outlook on themselves, that is still okay in her stories. I have listen to them multiple times and try to tell everyone about them. Thank you Sariah for giving me something good to listen to. =)

Excellent!

You’ll hate the hero, then you’ll love him. Meanwhile the heroine finds her own path.

Loved it!!

This might be my favorite Sariah Wilson book yet! Super swoony and clean. And I totally get why Ashton fell so hard for Evan. He’s dreamy!!
