Great Narrator

This is a fantastic resource for business leaders and other professionals, including researchers, entering into the AI space. As AI has revolutionized businesses across the world at lightning speed over the past decade, this books allows the reader to keep up with the complex concepts underpinning the power of AI.

Awful narration: interesting topic

Given the topic, I couldn’t help wonder if it was a human reading the book. The lack of human warmth in narration was off-putting. As such at times, whilst finding the topic of interest, retaining focus was somewhat of a challenge.

Overall, there are I imagine more balanced, better written starting points to this topic. I am also unsure who the target audience is for this title given the frequent references to statistical models and theories alongside sections discussing heuristics etc etc. Hardly absolute beginner concepts.

My biggest gripe however is the lack of criticality throughout the book when discussing some of the concerns posited by some who are wary of AI. A smaller niggle would the odd jump in writing styles from an almost academic to vernacular style in a single sentence.

I have certainly learnt a few things listening to the book, but suspect a good editor is needed to tidy things up if a second edition is written.

Poor Performance

Given this is only 3.5 hours I really tried to give this a full go since I am interested in the topic. The reader choice was just awful though. It sounds like you are listening to a computer reading the book. If this was intentional, it was a bad decision. After an hour I had to just give up.

Great Overview of Al

This book provides a very insightful overview of the broad field of 'artificial intelligence'. I had no prior knowledge of the subject, only a love of web development languages and a desire to understand certain AI concepts; I feel suitably enlightened having listened to this audiobook. The evenly-paced, measured, almost robotic narration added to my enjoyment. I would definitely recommend this audiobook.

Its really Nice

I found this book a bit too high level. If you are familiar with the topic, there's very little that you can learn. However overall I find it useful to have a complete overview of the topic
