Still a very pleasant found family story, carries on everything from the first book, including the cooking being the main focus. I really enjoyed it and will pick up the third when it releases.

Something I really appreciate is there not being any truly awful cliffhanger at the end of either of these books, only enough to leave you wanting more :)

As good as the first one

Narration and story is as good as in the first book. Both really good. Personally i would like for there to be a bit more development of the mc as a character. He is often naive, which is understandable, but it always just seems like a convenient way to explain things.
I really liked the ending and look forward to the next installment as it seems the story will have some interesting developments.
