About this listen

After Jebediah Trapper completed the Impossible Tutorial (by cheating), the vet's been in something of a slump.

His PTSD is gradually guiding him down the path of self-harm. Crippled, stripped of his power, and homeless, he's got no reason to keep breathing.

Until a little girl is in trouble.

Completely different to normal LITRPG while keeping within the genre. Highly recommended though careful listening is needed as the story can take swift and unexpected twists.

Innovative story

Very solid continuation of the series.

If you like at bit more creative spice and variety to your LitRPG, this series really is for you.
The worldbuilding is wholly different from the first book, the whole system changes, but all pretty well done and very creative.

The MC is snarky but not insufferable, makes fairly level headed decisions but is not very lucky.
Plans are made and do not survive contact with reality, this keeps things interesting and keeps you rooting for the MC without feeling like very thing magically falls in either lap.

Wish the next book in the series was on audible

I absolutely hate the depowering trope, but it worked this time and this was very enjoyable and made me laugh.

Good fun

I am a huge D&D fan, and i like the whole make a deal thing, but this was better than expected.

As expected another good addition.

often the story falls flat after the first book, here it's just getting better.
it's realistically believable, it has great characters it has entertaining events all the way to the end.
and doesnt over endulge in power fantasy and fan service. just overall great for an adult/discerning listener.
narrator is also nailing it, will def look out for him in future
