About this listen

From bestselling LitRPG author Seth Ring—creator of the Titan and Battle Mage Farmer series—comes Apex, the third book in the epic new series of alien contact, fast-paced military action, and thrilling adventure.

Life comes at you fast, and no one knows that better than Mark Fields. In less than two years, he’s gone from a lowly dishwasher to an empowered soldier, gained new powers and friends, and survived the deadly Exlian aliens in the wilderness.

And now, he’s a prisoner.

Framed for murder and thrown into the deadly Tomb, forgotten and alone—no master, no team, no friends save the enigmatic cat Mime—Mark can only rely on himself … and the strange voice that whispers inside him.

For it’s kill or be killed in the Tomb, and Mark must face both who he truly is and who—or what—he’s willing to become in order to survive.

love the world that has been build and the characters depth is great can't wait for the next in the series
my only criticism is the book length is short I know it's a series but I feel it's a bit rushed in places to meet a deadline

Seth's writing is just as amazing as always. Every universe he is creating is always brimming with potential of infinite stories always written with attention and incredible imagination. I want more every single time I finish one of his novels. Hats down to you sir and thank you for always adding to my own imagination as well. I am getting addicted to your novels in a best way possible 😁

I was worried at the start that the story was going to drift off script but was delighted when it developed nicely to the next book. I would highly recommend and if anyone comes across my other reviews I'm usually scathing.

Excellent

, Book 3 is an okay continuation in the series, with an intriguing plot involving the protagonist being falsely accused and imprisoned, yet passively accepting his fate. The story gave off strong vibes similar to the movie Gladiator, mixing themes of survival and betrayal. While it held interest, it didn’t quite reach the excitement or depth of the earlier books. Overall, it’s a decent read but not a standout.
