Our Brain is So Powerful.

This was a helpful and informative book. I suffered with panic attacks when I was in college and I wish it would have been around back then. The book contains a lot of information about intrusive thoughts, which myself and millions of other people deal with on a daily basis. This is something that I will recommend to my yoga clients, and to any friends. There's even a section on eating and sleeping habits, which have a great effect on your brain and your thoughts. However, it is only good if you are willing to put in the time and effort, which means to just start slow and steady, and it will help you over time

Good all around book for those with Anxiety.

Very helpful. Full of detailed descriptions of different types of anxieties and techniques to help deal with them, in addition to case studies. I love this book! It has so many helpful tips and lots of information for anyone looking to help themselves work through issues. This book helped me understand what I was going through. Even though I kind of already knew, just listen about it helped me to believe it. This book seriously changed the way I live. I now know how to control my anxiety. If you have any type of phobia or anxiety issue, put this book on your nightstand. It could change your life too.

Find clarity to overcoming anxiety!!

This a great resource to help you stop feeling so anxious. Written with care and support for those of us who run anxious, it gives practical suggestions to help you feel more in control. For years I struggled with panic attacks and I so wish this book had been available then! Read it - follow the exercises - and notice how much better you feel! Excellent Anxiety Book! This book helped me better understand my anxiety and find strategies to deal with it. This is a really useful and interesting book. The possibilities of our brain are endless and we can learn to manage it. Well written about how to get rid of old habits, how to start thinking positively and what you should do for this.

Very informative book!

This book does a great job at explaining a rather complicated subject, and walk you through the purpose of the therapy, as well as its way of operation and function. I like how it covers all the things you need to know and understand, and does it in a fairly simple way. This book really helps a lot to those persons who cant cope up with life's trials. Yes, each and everyone of us has life suffering but we must put it in a positive way. This is a really helpful book! Perfect for anyone who think they might have some mental blocks or something else keeping then behind. Well written, easy to understand and implement.A great self help book on cognitive behavioral therapy.

Awesome resource for anyone with invasive thoughts

I find this book insightful. Not many people understand depression or other mental conditions. For people who suffer these conditions, it is hard to find ways to cope. I myself deal with anxiety and stress. I do not know how to manage my thoughts and feelings well. This book really helps for people like me who are seeking help. It is about time to have a book that truly understands and explains the importance of careful and mindful thinking. Coming into this book from the perspective of having Anxiety disorder and Bipolar disorder with a lot of intrusive thoughts, I was worried that my brain would "get in the way" of the work. Finally, in addition to providing valuable information it offers a truncated, interesting history of cognitive behavioral therapy. Therefore, if you're looking to enhance your life you should buy this book, it can only make you feel better.
