Summary

Two full length stand alone novels.

Anthony

Sway

I don't do relationships.

My sisters insist I have commitment issues. I insist they should mind their own business.

Then Anthony crashes into my life.

The sexy bad boy is tasked with community service and I’m the girl who has to make sure he gets his crap done.

When he suggests hot and sweaty sex with no strings attached, I jump in with both feet.

Who wouldn't want a solid string of orgasms without the commitment?

But then he starts sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong.

And I can’t let that happen.

Anthony

After losing my job and letting the perfect relationship slip through my fingers, I wanted a fresh start.

I needed it.

Then I screwed up and am paying for it with community service, which is where I meet Sway.

The girl is the exact opposite of everything I've ever wanted in my life.

She's chaos.

And bright colors.

And a crazy cat lady who believes that relationships are a waste of energy.

She's the perfect opportunity to pass the time until I can get my head out of my ass and move on with my life.

But the more I'm around her, the more I begin to realize that we can't run from our pasts.

Neither of us can.

We can only embrace it.

And I thought I was the broken one.

Skye

Skye

Walking down the aisle toward my arch enemy wasn't exactly what I was picturing when I planned out my dream wedding as a little kid. But as I take in his chiseled jaw and sexy smirk, I remember why I agreed to this sham of a marriage.

It's because I'm a glutton for punishment and love a good underdog story, and the more I get to know Liam, the more I can see that he's exactly that.

The underdog.

I just hope I'm not wrong about him.

Liam

Marriage is a load of crap and my dad knows it, which is why he insisted I find a wife if I ever wanted to touch my inheritance.

Little does he know, I don't have a problem getting my hands dirty in order to get what I want. And if I have to use my little brother's nanny to prove it, I will.

Besides, the girl drives me insane. It's not like we have anything in common other than our mutual disdain for each other.

This'll be a walk in the park.

I hope.

Two Sisters and Two Men WhoEnter Their Lives

The first book Anthony involves a sister Kelsie who has found out information about her medical condition that causes her her to step away from a relationship with a man, Anthony, she meets in unusually circumstances. Anthony feels unloved and goes on a drinking binge, damages Kelsie’s property and starts to develop feelings for her and her rescue dogs. Both characters are likable, but you want to shake her to open up..so that frustrated me. The second book is the sister Skye...a loving nanny who falls for her charges half brother who is selfishly looking out only for himself...no idea how she fell for him..drove me crazy as he was a manwhore and not a nice guy...the ending just didn’t make sense to me. I received this audiobook for an honest and voluntary review.

Mixed Review

If it were only the first story, I'd have to give it a 3 overall, 2 performance, 4 story rating. Both narrators had issues that made it hard for me to listen. Elizabeth Tebb did an odd nasally voice for the male character that I didn't enjoy at all, and Daniel James Lewis occasionally went a little too hard with the narration and it got distracting. If he pulled back just a little it would have been more enjoyable. I did enjoy all his voices and his female voices were not annoying. That being said, I enjoyed hearing Anthony's story. I already heard Rett's book, where Anthony was a character and I wanted to see what happened to him after being left by his girlfriend. Hearing his journey and character growth was rewarding and I'm glad he got a happy ending. I liked Sway's character as well. The narrators for the second book were much better, and I had no trouble staying in the story. Skye's story was fun and I liked Liam's character. Their adventures and the unfolding of their relationship was fun and cute and made me smile, so I bumped my overall rating up to a 4, and the performance up to a 3, though I'd give these particular performers a 4. I received this audiobook for free in exchange for my honest review.

A Charming Showstopper!

There are certain authors that have a permanent place on bookshelves and in hearts. Kelsie Rae is one. Her claim to fame is that she finds humor in heartache.  My favorite kind of heartache is one that turns a frown right side up. This quartet of charming showstoppers does just that.      Skye - Rae takes her gift for humor and brings joy to your heart. From sworn enemies to partners in crime. Liam and Skye turn a marriage of convenience into a heartwarming battle of hearts, humor and chaos. Will their battle of wills be a match made in heaven or heartbreak? Sugar with a generous dose of sentiment makes for an irresistible romance.   Anthony - Anthony and Sway gives readers a reason to smile, even as their lives are falling apart. Sway is a firecracker. Her spirit has fire, but her heart is a mass of broken pieces. Her cynicism, brings out the pessimist in Anthony, who is fighting his way through some painful experiences of his own. Both have much to learn, when it comes to matters of the heart. Lesson No. 1.: You can't hurry love. Lesson No. 2: When the time and person are right, love will find you. A breath of fresh air with a realistic twist.

A great box set!

Despite not reading the series in order and missing a few books, I still relished the stories. Even if you don't have background knowledge of the characters, you can read/listen and enjoyed each as a standalone. Anthony and Skye are the seventh and eighth installments of the Signature Sweethearts series. Each book has its own refreshing storylines that are entertaining, funny, playful, sweet, and steamy. The characters are charming, natural, and connectable. Kelsie Rae is a gifted author, I really like her style, plot, and character development. Excellent performances by almost all the narrators. They captured the characters' personalities, emotions, and moods, bringing the story to life. Overall, this was an enjoyable listen, it was fun and flirty with enough heat. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook, and my unbiased review is voluntarily given.

Great Listen!

Anthony Love the story line. It’s a quick listen that kept me engaged. I liked the characters and how you still got glimpses in the second book. Skye This listen was good but I liked the first book better. It was more predictable for me. But I still loved the characters. Skye and her sisters are fun to listen too. The narrators were great. I have to say that the male narrators female voice were a little annoying. Other than that they did a good job. The female narrators were really easy to listen to. I enjoyed them allot. Overall great read. Will definitely listen again.

Cute but could be better...

This is the first time reading/listening to Kelsie Rae's stories. Both books are cute and very low angst. A great escape while running errand or doing chores around the house. Sway and Anthony's story line was refreshing with the hero's and heroine's roles swapped compared to your typical alpha hero who won't commit until they meet the one. Anthony was the opposite, wanted a commitment, 3 kids and the white picket fence. It wasn't insta-love and they took the time to get to know one another, which made it so much more relatable. I love the family interactions. It was definitely worth it and entertaining. Skye and Liam's story was less favorable. A tad bit below 3 stars. It was the typical arranged/fake marriage that turns into real love. However, the character developments were a bit lacking. I wished the author brought back Skaye's parents and more family interactions. Everything happened too fast: from Skye jumping in to help Liam by agreeing to marry him, to falling in love while on their honey and years of estrangement between Liam and his dad resolving so quickly. It was a bit too far fetch for me personally. It was still cute, just not a story that will stay with me. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
