This book continues where Calling the dead ends. And it is still set in New Orleans after the hurricane Katrina. Again Sept hunts a serial killer - named Hunter. And in typical Ali Vali style you get’s little hints about who the killer might be but not until late in the book you can start to understand the bigger picture- and then you are in for a surprise.

really great story lines of a detective and chef and the author of books that rubbish the local police forces, really great characters all the way through and brilliant narration with a happy ending as well THANKS 👍👍🥰
