A research vessel vanishes in the middle of the North Atlantic. No wreckage. No bodies. No explanation.

Its final transmission contains only three words: “Atlantis is awake.”

NATO analyst Anna Renner discovers that the ship’s disappearance is connected to a series of strange system failures, leaks, and military warnings. Someone is creating the appearance of a large-scale attack—and pushing the most powerful people in the world to believe that war has already begun.

The trail leads Anna to ATLANTIS, a secret system capable of predicting the behavior of governments, militaries, markets, and entire societies.

But the system is no longer being used to predict war.

It is being used to make others start one.

When Anna tries to warn her superiors, she is branded unreliable, stripped of access, and forced to watch as her own past is turned into a weapon against her.

Only hours remain before a decisive summit.

One wrong order could trigger a real war.

And there is only one person whose behavior ATLANTIS cannot predict.

THE ATLANTIS PROTOCOL is a political techno-thriller about artificial intelligence, information warfare, and the danger of a decision made on the basis of a carefully constructed lie.

This is an ANNA RENNER novel. Each book in the series tells a complete story and can be listened to on its own.

The Narrator´s intonation is a cross between Reese Witherspoons character in "Legally Blonde" and Tom Hanks character in "Forest Gump". After Falling asleep and re-starting 4 times, I stopped trying at Chapter 7. The "wrongness" of the intonation just overshadowed what would have been an interesting story, Maybe, I'll get the Kindle version and self-read.
