Amazing from beginning to end, truly enjoyed. I would highly recommend this beautifully descriptive piece.

Brilliant

Real and unapologetically raw. As a northern girl I really resonate with the character of Laura and love the poetic narrative. Love that it doesn’t follow predictable twists and turns. Thanks

Brilliant book, brilliant performance

Initially mildly amusing but overwritten. Aimless characters and after a while it feels like spending time with the pub bore you duck behind a pillar to avoid. Good performance though.

One hangover too many

I liked the writing style, to a point. It felt a little too much at times, too relentless. I will revisit this book soon, I hope. I feel it was not the best timing for me right now, for various reasons.

Mixed feelings

I saw the film before listening to the book, and found the film more engaging. The audio is well narrated- but the 2 main characters aren’t that likeable on the whole and I found it hard to follow with conviction.

Great performance, ok story.
