Summary

Blasphemy is a victimless crime...

Callie Penrose has taken over Castle Dracula all for herself, finally feeling like she has time to take a breath and relax.

But the forces of Heaven and Hell have other plans. Callie quickly learns that removing her mother’s protection of binding Excalibur to her soul had very serious consequences.

Namely, that it unleashed the Seven Deadly Sins on Kansas City. But they aren’t in town for mayhem - not directly.

They came for a wedding. And a very dark prophecy that could bring the age-old Angel War to the streets of the City of Fountains.

But it’s hard to focus on fighting when Hell is trying to fit her with a wedding dress...

But that is only the least of her concerns, because her mother kept secrets that could rock the Pillars of Heaven and rattle the Foundations of Hell.

The only problem is that her mother was so scared to share it, she didn’t write it down anywhere.

And that might just signal the end for Callie Penrose...

Anghellic okay?

Let me start by saying that I started the Templeverse with this series. I loved the story and the voice of Nicole so I stayed with it and eventually the rest of the books fell into place. This book was good, but not as exciting as previous books in my opinion. It may have been the narration though. It seemed like at times I was listening to Alexa read the part for Callie. Often I would tune it out and have to rewind to catch what was just said. In previous books Callie was more mysterious, dark and seductive. I don't know, just didn't fancy my listening pleasure this go-around.

Crushed

I almost couldn’t keep listening when the hopes of Nate and Callie were crushed.. they haven’t even really had a chance.. they could find a way.. and neither of them are too lazy not to try.. besides neither of them are in their “city’s “ full time anyway.. Super disappointed!! Their characters and personalities just fit.. Nate doesn’t need a damsel and PLEASE don’t bring Indie back!! And Callie doesn’t need a that mess either .. I like Ryu (sp?) but it doesn’t fit to me.. they don’t have that same connection in my opinion.. but I’m not the author either soooo

Awesome

Shayne Silvers has done it again. Another spectacular buck in his temple verse. Great job!
