Story
Oz Gallagher does not do relationships well. Bored and jobless after another disastrous hook up, he decides to leave London for a temporary job in the wilds of Cornwall. Surely managing a stately home on a country estate will be easier than navigating the detritus of his relationships at home. Six months there will alleviate a bit of his wanderlust and then he can come back to London as footloose and fancy free as the day he left it. However, when he gets there, he finds a house in danger of crumbling to the ground and a man who is completely unlike anyone he’s ever met.

Ash Winters is barely holding on, near drowning in his own darkness and fear. He lives a gray shadow of a life, sullen and cynical, unable to remember hope or happiness - much less the distant, fading glitterball of love. It has to be a sick joke of the universe that he finds himself hooked up with good-humored Essex boy Darian Taylor, a wannabe model in a sparkly jacket and a fake tan. Darian may not be an intellectual giant, but he's hysterically funny, and he's got the courage to challenge Ash to live again.

Saying I've had a crush on my best friend's older brother, Pax, most of my life is like saying the big bang was just an explosion. It's true, but I'm not sure that quite captures the essence of its true enormity. I don't think my advanced physics knowledge is going to help me figure this one out. But I think for once I'm okay with not knowing, as long as Pax and I don't know together.

Conor: It starts with a drunken text pic. The kind I would normally never send. Only, instead of it going to the flirty hotel bartender, it goes to some random stranger who actually responds. Wells: The first thing I notice about Conor Newell when he sits down in my high-rise conference room is how delightfully nervous he is. Then I see his tie. The same geeky tie that’s held hostage on my phone. The one that belongs to my anonymous late-night texter. And it changes everything.

Every bartender should follow one simple rule - don't go home with the customers. That’s been easy for me to stick to, until the night a cocky, confident, and sinfully charming hockey star walks into my bar. This sexy athlete is too hard to resist, especially when he makes it clear how much he wants the “sarcastic, witty, hot AF” guy behind the bar - also known as me. Still, I’m not keen on breaking my own rules since I know where that can lead - no place good.

Cute and heartwarming
Story: A single dad of a witty girl and a substitute teacher from her school. The chemistry was instant, the development of the relationship sweet and really well done, and the maturity in it all totally precious! While this story is heartwarming and cute, there is some real life drama that makes it very relatable and not overly sweetened. I loved Jamie's backstory and his personality so much! Overall, a very well written story! Narration: Great performance! All the voices were easily discernible, the emotions rang true and the voice was pleasant to listen to.

A sweet found family, Holiday romance!
This is book 2 in the Daddy Dearest series and can be listened to as a standalone. This was an absolutely adorable listen. Jamie has put his life on hold to raise his sister's child as his own. When he meets Stanton at the elementary school's Christmas pageant, he is instantly smitten. It will take a little bit of divine intervention to help Jamje, Stantom and Mia get the family they deserve just in time for Christmas. Tristan Josiah did an amazing job in giving each character a unique voice and his audio delivery was smooth and enjoyable.

Perfect Christmas story
Jaime Bailey had to give up his dreams to become a daddy, and he does not regret it, although sometimes all his life seems a long series of having to give up all the good things he found. Stanton Potter, his daughter Mia’s teacher, is one of those good things he won’t be able to keep… or will he? This is the perfect Christmas short story, with likeable characters, an entertaining plot with just the exact amount of anguish and a very happy ending. I loved both main characters, and I really enjoyed the kids in Stanton’s class antics. And those clinking references to It’s a Wonderful Life… Tristan Josiah’s narration is the perfect channel for the story, a masterful performance which leaves you with a happy smile and a content heart.

loved it!
This book was everything I love about Christmas books/movies. A small town that is a character in and of itself and comes included with a busy-body or two, a Hallmark-esque romance (all sweet and not too much angst), a Christmas miracle just in time to save the day... and the narration was top notch. would definitely recommend this story to a friend!
