About this listen
An action-packed and genuinely terrifying fantasy epic novel set six weeks after the world has succumbed to the angel apocalypse. The official audiobook edition of the internet phenomenon. Already over 8,000 five-star reader reviews. (And counting.)
It's been six weeks since the angels of the apocalypse destroyed the world as we know it. Only pockets of humanity remain. Savage street gangs rule the day while fear and superstition rule the night. When angels fly away with a helpless girl, her 17-year-old sister, Penryn, will do anything to get her back....
©2012 Susan Ee (P)2012 Brilliance AudioThe narrator is very good and does well with a so, so book. If I had to read it I would not have got through the first 100 pages.
Not as good as expected

I recommend to people that like apocalyptic sci-fi. I don’t recommend if you are looking for a romance-centred story. The romance is secondary here. Be aware also of gory scenes!
Excellent Angel Fiction!

I would love to hear the next in the series

Perfect story for anyone who enjoyed books by Cassandra Clare or Becca Fitzpatrick.
Narrator was good and had no issue with captivating my attention with the way she told the story.
Not what I expected

Would you listen to Angelfall again? Why?
Brilliant story with good narrator. The book is available in the US....just need it to come over here. Exciting and mature fiction for the older teenager. What does Caitlin Davies bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Great neutral narration with good voicesWas there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The point where Raphael has had bat wings sewn onto him....functional but tragicCan't wait for the next instalment
