Summary

When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

Andrew's life is bleak. His rough, uncaring father and overwhelmed mother don't understand their sensitive middle child. In a family with five kids, it's easy for the quiet one to get lost, and Andrew is very quiet. But when he starts fourth grade, he finds a kindred spirit in a teacher. Miss Brown appreciates the special way that Andrew sees the world and wants to help him express his view through art. However, he'll need to get permission from his parents first. Will Andrew's uneducated father block his son from the one thing that brightens his life?

Short and sweet

I really enjoyed this book especially the ending, it reminds me that we should all follow our dreams no matter what.
