Festive joy and goodwill to all abounds, unless you're sworn enemies…

"At the top of the tree of modern whodunnits" - Ian Moore

As Christmas approaches, Margery and her team of dinner ladies are asked to cater for the popular Ittonvale Winter Festival. But when a storm rolls in, the festivities take a troubling turn...

Food vendor Elliot is found unconscious with a severe head injury, sprawled among toppled Christmas decorations. Rumours swirl of an argument with a rival stall owner. Could foul play be involved?

With the police unable to reach the site until the weather clears, Margery and Clementine keep a watchful eye for any suspicious behaviour. If their instincts are right, they are all trapped inside with a possible attacker.

A delightfully cosy Christmas crime novel perfect for reading in front of the fire. For fans of Richard Osman, Janice Hallett and Richard Coles.

Once a professional chef, Hannah Hendy now serves up deliciously fun cosy crime full-time from her home in a quiet South Wales town, where she lives with her wife, their daughter, and two outrageously spoiled cats. Hannah is the author of the bestselling Dinner Lady Detectives series.

Not my favourite book in the series. I love all
Of the Dinner Lady detective books but this was hard to follow. Too many characters. Characters not well defined. This made it difficult to follow at times and not an easy read like the others.

Not the best

Least favourite of the series. Slow start but picked up towards the end. Shame to see the dinner ladies go.
