Fun & Practical
I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. It groups idioms into different categories like work, sports, social media, and love. I especially liked the part about old sayings that we still use today. The person reading the book explains what the idioms mean and where they come from, and gives examples to help understand them better. If you like learning about language, you'll really like this audiobook!

Super fun, and packed with history!!
This is a very interesting book, not at all what I was expecting. I anticipated kind of everyday type idioms. But instead you get the idiom, you get the origins of the idiom with awesome historical documentation( newspapers from 100 years ago radio show references) the next section is uses, how to use the phrase and then similar phrases. This is a well researched and well presented book with a lot of fun stories and idioms.

Very Entertaining
I received this book as a gift and really enjoyed learning the phrases and meanings of these. I was surprised to learn that what I thought some of them meant, I was actually wrong. The author did a great job of explaining them and using them in sentences. I would defiantly recommend this listen to anyone interested in learning these simple idioms we use.
