Steady pace, strong characters. There is plenty of action and intrigue in this story. Its coming of age for shifters. The ending was definitely a cliff-hanger!! I am desperate for the next book!

I wanted to love this book and I did but at the same time didn't. The story had twists and turns but the ending felt very rushed and wasn't explained at all. I know part of that is to get us to come back for book three but I just kind of kept screaming at Maddox for the entire last 30/40 minutes of the book. He kept saying she was it, it was only Luna and then all of the sudden he just forgets she exists and that's that. I really didn't like how it ended but I know I'll come back for the third book hoping it will make up for itself.

I enjoyed the way this one continued the series, the characters were incredibly entertaining and there was a lot of emotions and adventure to keep my attention.

The narration was interesting and brought a lot more of the personality of the main characters out. What a wonderful book, I am very excited to see what Sloane Murphy has to offer next with her writing.
