About this listen
What if your whole world was a lie?
The thrillingly dark conclusion to the No. 1 New York Times bestselling DIVERGENT trilogy.
What if a single revelation – like a single choice – changed everything?
What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected?
The faction-based society that Tris Prior once believed in is shattered – fractured by violence and power struggles and scarred by loss and betrayal. So when offered a chance to explore the world past the limits she's known, Tris is ready. Perhaps beyond the fence, she and Tobias will find a simple new life together, free from complicated lies, tangled loyalties, and painful memories.
But Tris's new reality is even more alarming than the one she left behind. Old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless. Explosive new truths change the hearts of those she loves. And once again, Tris must battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature – and of herself – while facing impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love.
Told from a riveting dual perspective, Allegiant, by #1 New York Times best-selling author Veronica Roth, brings the Divergent series to a powerful conclusion while revealing the secrets of the dystopian world that has captivated millions of readers in Divergent and Insurgent.
Critic reviews
Praise for DIVERGENT:
“The next big thing.” (Rolling Stone )
“If you like Hunger Games & Twilight, then get stoked for DIVERGENT! Trust us on this—this baby is going to blow up BIG! And if you chose to remain factionless, then you’re gonna be one lonely soul.” (PerezHilton.com )
Is there anything you would change about this book?
**SPOILER ALERT**Yes, I would not have killed off the made character . Feel like I've wasted 30 hours of my time . I would have watched the news if I wanted to feel down. I honestly believe that killing of triss bought nothing to the storyWhat was most disappointing about Veronica Roth’s story?
**SPOILER ALERT**I read the other two books and I was full of hope like and faith in the write to bring them together in a better world, but what I got was a book where the made two do nothing but row, work it out. Then she gets killed off which she really didn't have to do. Felt dishearted and wish I could forget that I've ever listen to this book.Which scene did you most enjoy?
Didn't enjoy much about this book. First two were much betterWas Allegiant (Divergent, Book 3) worth the listening time?
Not at allAny additional comments?
It's not worth your time or money . They row, get together and then she dies. I'm sure someone will like it, and that's good. It just didn't do much for me. I live in pain all the time and I listen to book as I can't hold a book up and typing this is hurting. But I felt so cross after listening to this for the very first time I wanted to share my disappointment.Sorry if you don't agree.
Wish I hadnt listen to it

The ending for me was the most rewarding of any young adult series in recent years. It's refreshing to have an ending that leaves you slightly hollow because the lead character is missing. But it also makes the messages at the end far more powerful. The first film adaption
was ok. I look forward to the rest!
A fitting end to a very interesting series
