Convenient plot drivers strike again, them again I suppose once a story went down a certain path it was needed otherwise they'd be no bang for a finale just a whimper and was it sorely needed. As it became quite one-dimensional with just focus on two characters - a latent 'Dan and Emma Show'. However, can't complain heard / read worse.

Every book from the first got better and better intill the final flop...
The writing is impeccable and narration excellent, but the story let's it down..and why split books 8 & 9 into 2 8hrs when listeners invest so much up to then screams of a cash grab...
I highly recommend...ANCIENT ORIGINS...
