I loved this book. The overall story was amazing and very poignant. This is a book that had everything ~ drama, courage, sacrifice, hard choices and so much emotion. The book was beautifully written and flowed seamlessly throughout. It was such a beautiful story, but so heartbreaking in parts. I loved the characters and the ways they changed over the course of the book. The descriptions were so vivid I felt like I was there . A fantastic narrator just made it perfect.

Amazing Book!

the story seemed so authentic to a lot of the things that people went through at the time. so much undeserved hatred to a race of people who had no choices or options in life.
The story was brilliantly read with emotion and sympathy to everyone's plight.
changes in dialogue and voice were really well carried out, giving even more character.
fantastic!!
