Summary
The stunning new thriller from number one Sunday Times best seller Stuart MacBride.
One down....
A dark night in the isolated Scottish countryside. Nicholas Wilson, a prominent professor known for his divisive social media rants, leaves the house with his dog, as he does every night. But this time he doesn’t come back....
Two down....
The last thing Inspector Logan McRae wants is to take on such a high-profile case. But when a second man vanishes in similar circumstances, the media turns its merciless gaze on him and he has no choice.
Who’s next?
Then body parts start arriving in the post. Someone out there is trying to make a point, and they’re making it in blood.

Dialogue.
Good story spoilt by far to many crude unnecessary analogies. put me off reading more.

The perfect author and narrator combination
I cannot tell you how much I look forward to any new Logan book. They never disappoint. I love the humour, despite the subject matter and the narration is just perfect. More, more, more!!!!!!!

All That’s Dead
I am a fan of Stuart MacBride and the Logan series. This was my lease favourite book in the series. Slow pace for the first two thirds of the book. Not enough side story lines and lacking in the many big police and criminal characters in earlier books.

Stuart is a genius
Another cracking tale from Mr MacBride, enjoyed the story and continuing characters of Logan, Steel and Tufty, gave me out and out belly laughs as well as tension and thrills. Thanks for a great listen to you and Steve Worsley.

A usual tale
Stuart MacBride tells a great story and Steve Worsley is a fantastic narrator.
this wasn't one of the best I felt it was full of 'filling in the pages' but I loved the story. Steel has to be my favourite character.
