Just brilliant. Couldn’t stop listening. You feel yourself immersing in all of the characters and becoming completely involved in the story. Highly recommended.

My new favourite author.

I read this story ten years ago, and it impacted me so profoundly that I still remember the book vividly.

Listening to it as an audiobook reminded me of the exceptional talent of this writer. Her stories are captivating, so real, and yet profoundly redemptive.

It is definitely worth your time to listen to this audiobook.

I found this a truly gripping story. There are three storylines, following three women within a family and jumping between 2004 and 1920-ish, and whilst the ending was a little rushed and a bit incomplete it wasn’t entirely unsatisfying. Also, as a Christian novel, it was actually not cringey at all, which a lot of Christian stories are.

The narrator did a great job too.

Really enjoyed it overall.

Gripping plot
