Summary

this is so much fun.. it was funny and made me laugh and smile.. it was wonderfully narrated with a lot of laughter and love. i absolutely adore this series and cannot wait for more.

I can highly recommend the whole Chosen universe series. One just falls in love with the characters and it is wonderful how their stories intertwine with each others.

Why am I not surprised I started a series, that’s a spin off of another one, without having read the original series? I didn’t have a hard time diving in, but was left curious about the previous series. (Sounds like there’s about to be some new additions to my TBR list) I really enjoyed this book. I haven’t read too many books regarding the world of shifters, and it’s because if books like this one, that I’m thinking I have been missing out. 🐼

This story was well written, and had characters that drew me in. They were intriguing, lovable, and eady to root for. 🐼

Michael Dean did a great job with his narration of the characters. His ability to bring stories to life is always top notch. The enthusiasm, emotion, and varying amounts of voices is very enjoyable. If I go to long without hearing the sound of his voice, and then I listen to one of his books...it’s like a good long sigh, or stretch.

Where do I start? The characters are well developed with great personalities, Victor, and you can imagine him all prime and proper until he meets Orsen Riggs.

The dynamic between the two shifters is great, and I love the stuffiness of Victor and the down-to-earth scruffiness of Riggs.

Then you add these poor orphans and all the other side characters. You then have a great story.

OH, and some hot sex. Not sure if I mentioned that. Would I recommend it? That would be a yes... Lol
I already downloaded book/audio two, which is ready to listen to.

The narration was on point, but Michael Dean never disappoints me. I did, however, speed up to 1.25 on Audible, which is my norm.
