The hero was immovable for me. Yet still the story was engaging enough that I was eager to hear what happened next. Despite Kai's insensitivity, selfishness and dishonesty the author managed to craft the tale so I did still care what happened to him and want Alessandra to have her happily ever after. On to the next tale in this series!
