She winds up stuck at the airport for hours. With Zev! When another stranded passenger (a hot NYU guy) suggests a connecting flight to Boston, Sari jumps at the chance. Angst and sweetness!

Shani Petroff is both a new author for me and a new narrator. I’m always game to try new authors and narrators, but usually go in with a bit of skepticism. My skepticism was not warranted on either the narration or the writing. This is a story of young love and the trials thereof. Siri is hurt and with good reason. She needs time for clarity. I love that she’s a musician and uses her music for solace when she’s conflicted. I really liked the way this story developed and finished!

As a narrator, Shani Petroff did a great job with the different characters and emotions of the story! I would listen to her again in a heartbeat!

Things I'm Over

.This audio book had me laughing out loud in some parts and cringing with discomfort in some. Sari is the character that I didn't know I needed and the whole concept of trying to get home, no matter how it is done, continues to entertain me. Good story and narration

I LOVE Shani Petroff narration

I was so excited when I heard about a new book by Shani Petroff .. her stories are simple and almost drama free, this book is no different, it's about a messed up situation where Sira is stuck in a road trip with her cheating ex .. but I was really bored when we reached the half point and nothing was actually happening .. Sira is so annoying and judgmental to no end and I really didn't connect with her at all .. the story could've been better if the ending was different
but overall it was kind of a disappointing read for me

As for the narration I just like how Miss Shani Petroff narrated her books, it gives a life to the characters and she kept me engaged to the story until the end
