Kenna is a strong woman who knows what she wants and not afraid to go after it. She chooses Phoenix and he is an alpha who is not afraid to let his woman take the lead. She is taken and now Phoenix is ready to tear the city down to find his woman. Full of chemistry and action.

Kenna - the only daughter to Jorge Vernon(Daddy), who is retiring from leading the streets of Miami. Ideally they want a man in this role so Kenna needs to step up to the plate and show these men she's not afraid to step over them or on them to take her rightful spot as the leader.

Daddy insists Kenna rule the city along side one of 2 twin brothers. When word gets out Jorge is retiring, threats and bullets fly and Kenna has to remain strong to show she's up for the job even if it kills her.

I really liked the strong savy character Kenna was in this book....I look forward to her BFF Winny in another book. She seems like she's got more spitfire than Kenna but not as much class. Looking forward to it.

Logan McAllister did a terrific job narrating this story to the point you actually felt like you were on site when some of the events took place - fantastic!

Captivating story, I had already read the book and I was looking forward to listening to it too, it was really good to hear it come to life. though I prefer dual narrators, Logan didn't do a bad job of portraying Kenna.

I love when a book shows both sides of a story. I really like when the heroine of the the story is a bad ass that don't take no bull. I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read/ listen to book two. Logan McAllister did wonderful job on this one.
