Thoroughly enjoyed this series of books. Loved the storyline but it was the narration that made it for me. Definitely recommend.

I loved the raw characters who had to live with their mistakes and the way they change their lives. I thought that some of the battles and situations got a bit samey. The whole thing could have probably been done in two books. But I did thoroughly enjoy it.

Was engrossed with storyline but one very small thing is the narrator using the US pronunciation of the word lieutenant. It should be 'leff' not 'loo'.
