It is indeed a journey with the apostles and the book has quite a lot of valuable insight into the apostles, but it didn’t have much of an advent feel, nor much relation to the 1st coming of Christ, just some relation to the 2nd coming of Christ. It could have made the connection more and engaged in the theme of advent far more.
As I was looking for a book to help me focus on the 1st coming and 2nd coming of Christ I feel this didn’t do the job.
